It covers policies of all major actors, analysed in the EU-STRAT project, as well as links to useful sources of information about each of the Eastern Partners. The European Endowment for Democracy (EED) is a grant-giving organisation that supports local actors of democratic change in the European Neighbourhood and beyond.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/eap-csf.eu\/en\/home\/\">Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum<\/a><em>. <\/em>The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) is a unique multi-layered regional civil society platform aimed at promoting European integration, facilitating reforms and democratic transformations in the six Eastern Partnership countries.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/euvsdisinfo.eu\/\">EU vs. Disinformation<\/a>. This website is part of a campaign to better forecast, address and respond to disinformation. It measures successes and setbacks on the path toward a democracy based on the rule of law and a socially responsible market economy.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ebrd-beeps.com\/data\/\">Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Survey (BEEPS)<\/a>. BEEPS is a firm-level survey of a representative sample of an economy\u2019s private sector whose objective is to gain an understanding of firms\u2019 perception of the environment in which they operate.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/comparativeconstitutionsproject.org\/ccp-rankings\/\">Comparative Constitutions Project<\/a>. The Comparative Constitutions Projects produces comprehensive data about the world\u2019s constitutions.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transparency.org\/country\">Corruption Perception Index<\/a>. Corruption Perception Index each year scores countries on how corrupt their public sectors are seen to be<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.doingbusiness.org\/\">Doing Business Reports<\/a>. The Doing Business project provides objective measures of business regulations and their enforcement across 189 economies and selected cities at the subnational and regional level.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eap-index.eu\/\">Eastern Partnership Index<\/a>. <em>The European Integration Index for Eastern Partnership Countries <\/em>charts the progress made by the six countries towards integration with the EU. The Index covers the period of January 2013 &#8211; June 2014, combining independent analysis with the most recent annual quantitative data to provide a snapshot of progress in attainment and continued fulfilment of democratic standards.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/monitoring.visa-free-europe.eu\">Eastern Partnership Visa Liberalisation Index<\/a>. On this website, you can find up-to-date, independent assessment of the fulfilment of criteria for visa liberalization by all the six Eastern Partnership countries.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.freetheworld.com\/index.php\">Economic Freedom<\/a>. The Economic Freedom Network is devoted to promoting economic freedom around the world. The network has member institutes in over 87 nations.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/web\/european-neighbourhood-policy\/enp-east\/data\/database\">Eurostat<\/a>. The data for the ENP-EAST partner countries are supplied by and under the responsibility of the national statistical authorities of each of the countries or territories.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/freedomhouse.org\">Freedom House ratings<\/a>. Freedom House is an independent watchdog organization dedicated to the expansion of freedom and democracy around the world. Freedom House analyses the challenges to freedom, advocates for greater political rights and civil liberties, and supports frontline activists to defend human rights and promote democratic change.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/reports.weforum.org\/global-competitiveness-report-2015-2016\/competitiveness-rankings\/\">Global Competitiveness Rankings<\/a>. The Global Competitiveness Report assesses the competitiveness landscape of 140 economies, providing insight into the drivers of their productivity and prosperity. The Report series remains the most comprehensive assessment of national competitiveness worldwide.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.politicalterrorscale.org\/\">Political Terror Scale<\/a>. Political Terror Scale goal is to measure levels of violence by the state.<\/li>\r\n<li>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.systemicpeace.org\/polityproject.html\">Polity IV\u00a0<\/a>dataset covers all major, independent states in the global system over the period 1800-2015 (i.e., states with a total population of 500,000 or more in the most recent year; currently 167 countries). With the support of the Political Instability Task Force, the Polity IV Project has been transformed into a living data collection effort, meaning that it constantly monitors regime changes in all major countries and provides annual assessments of regime authority characteristics, changes and data updates.<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/softpower30.portland-communications.com\/\">The Soft Power 30 Index<\/a>. The Soft Power 30 is a composite index that combines both objective metrics of countries\u2019 soft power resources and subjective international polling data.<\/li>\r\n<li>World Bank indicators: The World Bank is an international organization which provides various data sets including <a href=\"http:\/\/data.worldbank.org\/data-catalog\/world-development-indicators\">World Development Indicators<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/info.worldbank.org\/governance\/wgi\/index.aspx#home\">Worldwide Governance Indicators<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/econ.worldbank.org\/WBSITE\/EXTERNAL\/EXTDEC\/EXTRESEARCH\/0,,contentMDK:20649465~pagePK:64214825~piPK:64214943~theSitePK:469382,00.html\">Database of Political Institutions<\/a>.<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldvaluessurvey.org\/WVSOnline.jsp\">World Values Survey Wave 6 2010-2014<\/a>. The World Values Survey (WVS) is a global network of social scientists studying changing values and their impact on social and political life. The Council of Europe is an international organisation focused on promoting human rights, democracy and the rule of law in Europe. The European Commission and the Council of Europe have signed a cooperation agreement &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coe.int\/t\/dgap\/localdemocracy\/EAP\/default_en.asp\">Council of Europe\/European Union Eastern Partnership Programmatic Co-operation Framework<\/a>(PCF). The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.venice.coe.int\">Venice Commission<\/a> is an advisory body of the Council of Europe, composed of independent experts in the field of constitutional law. The Venice Commission\u2019s primary task is to assist and advise individual countries in constitutional matters in order to improve functioning of democratic institutions and the protection of human rights.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.osce.org\/\">Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe<\/a>. The OSCE addresses a wide range of security-related concerns, including arms control, confidence- and security-building measures, human rights, national minorities, democratization, policing strategies, counter-terrorism and economic and environmental activities. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osce.org\/odihr\">Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR)<\/a> is the principal institution of the OSCE dealing with the &#8220;human dimension&#8221; of security. ODIHR assists governments in meeting their commitments as participating States of the OSCE in the areas of elections, human rights, democracy, rule of law, and tolerance and non-discrimination.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imf.org\/external\/\">International Monetary Fund<\/a>. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is an organization of 189 countries, working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldbank.org\/en\/region\/eca\">The World Bank<\/a>. The World Bank Group works with countries in Europe and Central Asia to help improve people&#8217;s lives and achieve shared prosperity in a variety of ways, including through financial lending and analytical and advisory services.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/news\/2013\/the-ebrd-and-the-eastern-partnership.html\">European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)<\/a>. EBRD is an international financial institution founded in 1991. As a multilateral developmental investment bank, the EBRD uses investment as a tool to build market economies.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nato.int\/cps\/en\/natohq\/51288.htm\">North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)<\/a>. NATO cooperates with a range of international organisations and countries in different structures.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaeunion.org\/?lang=en#info\">Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)<\/a>. The Eurasian Economic Union is an international organization for regional economic integration initiated by Russia.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/eabr.org\/e\/\">Eurasian Development Bank<\/a>.
